    Requested DAte Change of files

It would be good to be able to change the dates of picture files. I ahve a number of pictures which were created with a camera which had the wrong dates on it.

In the meantime, you could try

    - free exif editor, works well, if a little awkward in its interface
    Its: Belongs to "It"
It's: Shortened form of "It is"
    ---------------------
    Lose: Fail to keep
    Loose: Not tight

    ---------------------
    Plurals do not require apostrophes

Never dealt with EXIF data so far, but this tool looks promising.
I wonder though, if a program like IrfanView should be able to edit the EXIF tag.

        I don't know either...

BTW, this one looks possibly better:

        - yes, it is

I think IrfanView should handle EXIF.

However, in the meanwhile: another vote for Exifer, and in case you need to edit system dates too:

Ninotech Date Edit shell extension 4.0 (freeware)

also, on the same page you can get Ninotech Path Copy shell extension 4.0, in case you need to copy the file name or full path of images (or any file, in this case).

Yes, that Path Copy is good - I used to use it (I have something called "File Menu Tools" now, does more stuff). My file manager, Free Commander, also copies path names and handles system file date and attribute changes. Hmm...reminds me there was a feature I wanted to speak of...Matera wanders off to start a topic
