    Tiff compression issue

I am taking several files of various types and combining them into a TIFF with JPEG compression. This worked great in 4.0, but I just started using 4.10 and I have a slight problem.

When using the multi tif operation (from the command line or GUI) with JPG compression, it would seem that the colors of the input files are being corrupted. Its almost like the red and blue values are being swapped. See the example I attached.

    To reproduce:

    1. In the GUI choose View->Multiple Images->Create Multipage Tif...
    2. Click add images, select the JPEG file from the zip I attached.
    3. Click Compression and choose JPEG, click OK.
    4. Set your save directory and filename
    5. Click "Create Tif Image"

    Anyone else have this problem?

There was a feature request some days ago

regarding swapped R and B channels in some JPEGs.
I'm not sure that this request didn't describe a bug.
But there was no test image.

I can open your TIFF in one of my programs and the colors are correct.
In Irfanview 4.10 B and R are swapped.
Irfanview 4.00 does not have this problem.

I would say the content of your TIFF is correct.
It contains a clean JPEG stream.

Thanks for the reply. Its interesting that these files are created correctly by IrfanView, but not displayed correctly. I wonder what changed in the new version.

Same problem here, Irfanview 4.10 does not show colours correctly in tiff files

          Hi everybody,

I also have R/B swapping when I open the image with IrfanView, but colors are correct in the GIMP. The GIMP also warns that the image resolution is outside of the limits.
I move this thread in the Bug Reports forum and I report it in Project IrfanView.
