Requested Thumbnail view using embedded thumbnail

    Hello,

When opening the thumbnail page, if the directory contains many files, the populating phase of the thumbnail is ofthen slow (of course!), but if the images does already contains embedded thumbnail, loading them instead of redrawing one starting form the full image is much more quick (ome other image browser already works in this way).

I believe that having this feature (load embedded thumbnails if available) could be a great improvement in this phase.

    Best regards,

    Swordmap

I find it hard to believe anyone would use any other method.

IV is not reading the embedded thumbnail from jpegs on the thumbnail page (version 4.1).
Is it possible to integrate this feature in the next version?

Well...not all images have embedded thumbnails.
And then, when they do, they do not always represent the actual image. So, unless all images are saved with updated embedded thumbnails - which leaves all my PNG's out in the cold anyway - huh.

I try to keep the number of images per folder down. Hard to imagine anyone would use any other method...

It wouldn't hurt to have the embedded thumbs as an option, though
        Its: Belongs to "It"
It's: Shortened form of "It is"
