Irfanview 4.10 crashing in XP while saving files

After opening a file (.jpg) and doing something with it (cropping, resizing, color correction, whatever) and doing a "Save As" (.jpg, for example), all is well...
...until I either open another file and do something with it and try to do a "Save As"... then it crashes!

It does not matter how big or small the file.
It seems to do it more frequently when I try to do a "Save As" with a slightly different file name.

I have XP Home, 1.4 ghz processor, 1 gig ram

Try uninstalling and reinstalling IV. Make sure you have the latest plugins.

Do this also occur after shutting down IV en starting up again to work on another image? Or only when working within a session like you descriped? Filenames has nothing to do with it as long as they're different.

Does this happen also with the Save dialogs of other applications?
