    ICC profile in slideshow

    Hello !

In slide show of TIFF files with ICC color profile embedded, the color are good (the color profile is read). It is really great !!

But, when i do the same thing with JPG with the same color profile (Adobe 98), the colors are not good, the color profile is not read...

(the jpg are correctly displayed in the viewer)

    Any idea ?

Irfanview 4.10, Win XP 64bits, Intel Core 2 duo Q6600.

No idea, but I think it's a buggy allright.
When you don't send your pictures to a professional presser, I'd advice you to use (convert to) the normal sRGB-profile for your jpegs.

      Hi mikoyan,

There is an option for color profiles in
      [Options] | [Properties/Settings] menu,
      [Viewing] tab
[Use embedded color profiles for JPG/TIF (Plugin)] checkbox.
      Maybe this can helpp.

        thank you for reply

the option about profile was checked

i use now TIFF (with JPG compression) instead of JPG and it is working

but Irfanview conversion of TIFF file (with JPG compression) from TIFF (without compression, 8 bits per channel) removes the color profile and makes a inversion of blue and red channel (something related to interlacing ?)

i had to do a photoshop script to correct that (for 500 photo!)
