    Launcher / command line /whatever

I have tried out a lot of program launchers and command line ("Run") add-ons/substitutes, hoping to find something that was not going to let me down as Micro$loth bloated its way on toward infinite obsolescence. I dumped most of them. Then I tried Executor. This thing is smart. And it never tries to outsmart me.

Well, I've seen Launchy once on my friend's notebook and use it ever since. It's small, it's fast and it's working just as it should be!

Very similar, except it looks like it is too much into indexing everything. With Executor I keep a limited set of commands at my fingertips. If I want the whole computer I launch Free Commander. I don't want the Start Menu, I delete most of the junk that lands there and never use it anyway. I also use RemoteKeys for a variety of launch menus and a lot of little macros and clip-shooter type things.
