In Agent, opens images in multiple windows

Just installed v 4.0 in my Windows Vista Ultimate. When I view an image (generally .jpg) in Forte Agent, each image opens in a separate window. How do I reset this to open each new image in the existing window that is open?

Forte Agent is a (I thought) very popular usenet newsreader. Sorry...

But I realize I shouldn't even have thrown that into the mix, as I am pretty sure that Agent has nothing to do with this, as previous image viewers that I have used have not done this.

The question is....when I click to open a .jpg, it opens a new irfan viewer window. If I click on a second, it opens a second window. And a third. Is there a way to configure irfan to use the existing widown that is open, rather than constantly opening new windows?

Sorry here too. 'Newsreader' rung a bell now and I should have known.
Check 'P' and in the tab "Options" : 'only 1 instance of IrfanView is active'.

You were right...I just didn't see it.

One other question...now my .avi files in my newsreader are pulling up irFan, even though inside of irFan, it shows that an .avi file is to pull up Windows Media Player. How do I fix that one?
