    eye candy 3

I downloaded the free eyecandy 3. When I tried to install it it asked me where.
So where do I install it so I can use it with Irfanview?
All I was prompted to was the c drive-
    I'm trying to do this-http://patao.com/Tutorials/waterfall_animated.html
    Thanks, I'm new at this.

Install it anywhere that is convenient. You will then have to open an image in IrfanView and get the Adobe filter plugin dialog -- Image menu, Effects, Adobe 8bf filters (or Ctrl + K) and use the "Add 8bf filters" button to browse to the folder that Eyecandy is installed in.

Beneton Movie GIF is very good. I think you just have to play around with whatever you get and develop a feel for it. As far as their working "with" IrfanView, there is no difference. They can use any images altered with IrfanView, and IV should be able to load any finished product to view.

            One topic per thread please.
I installed the free eyecandy 3 from that patao-site, but instead of that, I got a demo-version of eyecandy 4000. So I skipped.
Two other 8bf plugins there though : Sparkle and Texturizer.
Sparkle is a FFactory version, meaning that it can be called with the shortcut 'K'.

A very nice tip. This Beneton tool is excellent.
