DNS Change

Hi guys,

i moved all files (forum software, avatars) to our new virtual server (from a shared- hosting account)!

So i had to change the dns settings for the main domain (irfanview-forum.de). Hopefully everything will be fine

Site loading should be faster an our virtual server!

I will be more active in the forum, i promise you

In the next days i will clear up some threads/categories + look for spammers etc.

Hi,

dns changed successfully (cmd.exe -> ipconfig /flushdns).

Page loading is 'at the moment' much faster than on the shared hosting account.

I don't know if this is related, but uploading larger attachments failed for me. Smaller files worked fine. The larger attachments were within the allowed limits, but I got a blank screen during upload using, Upload File from your Computer, and this message using Upload File from a URL:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 4641032 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262230 bytes) in /home/irfandbj/en.irfanview-forum.de/vb/includes/class_vurl.php on line 672

i changed mem limit to 16 MB - now it´s working for me (url uploading).
