Any way to disable Thumbnail Popup?

In IrfanView Thumbnails, is there any way to disable the big information box
that pops up every time the cursor touches an image? There are times when
all I am trying to do is create a selection set of images for batch
processing, and I don't need to see that big popup. In fact it interferes
with what I am trying to do. I disabled Windows Explorer ToolTips in the WinXP Registry, but this has not stopped the Irfan Thumbnails info popup.

    Hi lgcharlot,

I've not seen any way to avoid these info popups.

Actually, if you use the page up and page down keys to navigate the thumbnails it seems the popup is unavoidable no matter where your mouse is. One thumbnail will always be highlighted. If you try to deselect all thumbnails, as soon as you hit the page up or down key one thumbnail will become selected. So if you use the page up and down keys the popup will be blocking the view 100% of the time whenever you pause.
