    Something irritating

I have a lot of images to rename. Most are them are in a numbered format, and I want to rename them to what is contained within the picture vlcsnap-443545.jpg renamed to someguy.jpg, and whenever I do it'll sort the image automatically putting it with the rest of the renamed files and I have to scroll all the way back to up vlc. Or, if it's a number, scroll all the way down.

Is there a way to bypass this? Like, renaming it without any kind of sorting being done?

    Thanks

Open the directory in Thumbnail view (shortcut T) from Irfan View. Sort the thumbnails by date or filesize. Then rename the images by clicking the filenames or by using the shortcut (F2).
