Scale large images on open

Its quite annoying that to browse my camera pics I have to do it in full screen or zoom out several times. Could you add the option to scale large images when opened ...maybe set a default scale size ...or just scale it to the screen res ...I dont really care but it would be a nice feature

Even better!

It's better than that - you can even tell it "fit only big images to desktop" so it won't stretch the little ones to look ugly - try THAT with some of the for-pay software!
