I have a large (and growing) collection of .jpg images, from digital cameras and scans of photographs, slides and negatives. I would like to tag these with various kinds of information, but am very uncertain of which tags to use for what.
The sort of things I wish to include are (when known):
The source, including media and location where the original is stored
The location
The identities of people in the image
The date of the image
and probably others that I'll think of later!
I've scanned through lists of ITPC and XMC tags, but doen't really see how they fit what I want to do. I also haven't seen a description of how ITPC keywords are used, e.g., how do I make "New York City" and "John Smith" to keywords and not five?
Any example of how you do this sort of thing would be welcome.
