In the 'General' Tab of the options dialog activate

'Preview of PDF during save operation not needed'

I don't find that , are you talking about i_view32 menu or the impdf plugin tabs ?
Anyway, I run the i_view32 from my application and I don't want any pop up screen during activation (on fresh machine also)
How can I do that ? , Can I control the impdf options from the command line ?

I.e.: Open and and image, select save, select save type pdf in the file selector , change the options in the plugin options dialog, close the file selector.

No you can't. The only way is to create a copy of the ini, change the settings there and use it.
