Requested Quit IV on ESC w/o warning only if the image hasn't changed

I really don't like wanings so I'm glad IV can be closed simply by hitting ESC. But there's a drawback: I adjusted the colours, did some fine retouching and finally had half an hour of work destroyed by accidently pressing ESC (which means quit editing in another application)

I'd really appreciate this option in the Misc 1 tab of settings:

Warning on ESC program exit only if image changed/not saved

    CU, 5fx

LOL yes, it would be nice.
    Its: Belongs to "It"
It's: Shortened form of "It is"
    ---------------------
    Lose: Fail to keep
    Loose: Not tight

    ---------------------
    Plurals do not require apostrophes

I use the existing "warning on ESC to exit" option and prefer that as sometimes I haven't changed the image but still don't want to exit, so having this as additional choice would be good for those who like less intrusion.

          I also support!

Only recently did I upgrade to the version with Paint. Now, exitting without saving is a big problem.

I am with j_c_hallgren on this. By all means request the option if you want it but please do not take away the Always show a warning option. To me the Esc button is for breaking out of full screen windows such as slideshow and I never want it to close the main application. If you need a keyboard shortcut to close a program use Alt+F4.
