White Sands Missile Range surrounds the White Sands National 
Monument. Occasionally, White Sands Missile Range testing in the 
airspace over the monument requires the National Park Service to 
evacuate.

COMPLETE EVACUATION

All visitors must return to the Visitor Center parking area by 
 1230. The Park will remain closed until 145.
