I working in multimedia world and especially in Cellular System. With LCD you could find various format : like RGB565(16bits) RGB666(18bits)....
Recently I found a LCD in RGB555 in some application : aim use the remaining bit for alpha for application purpose
So I have tried to display such RGB555 Data via irfanView (tools that I promote sincerely
)in RAW mode but I think a problem
Normally RGB555 is like this XRRRRRGG GGGBBBBB, but it sounds that Red component is badly managed. After some investigation it sounds that IrfanView is reading Red componenet like this
XRRRRRGG ==> it reads RRRRRG for Red component
(spare bit is discarded but Green MSB bit is read)
For other comp G and B no problem.
Is someone has already seen such trouble ?
