The "Extract All Frames" feature is amazing when I'm dealing with video. However, when I have a format that supports Alpha, I can't get transparency from a BMP.
I've heard that there are multiple formats available for images, but in testing JPG2000 .MOV video files specifically, BMP's appear to be the only option.
If there was a PNG or TIF option with RGBA support, I would hug each and every one of you.
