Hello. I'm a great fan of Irfanview. Thanks for such a wonderful program.
I have a suggestion regarding the batch image conversion feature.
When we "un"check the "Overwrite existing files" in the advanced options, this means that the file with same name should not be overwritten.
From what I see when executing such command on thousands of files, I noticed that Irfanview first runs the conversion (image processing) then checks if the same file name exists, then finally skips overwriting if there is the file with the same name.
Obviously, if the "Overwrite existing files" option is unchecked, I think you should modify the routine to first check if a file with same name exists, then move on the image manipulation only when there is no duplicate.
