With IrfanView 4.25 and "Language/Connector Unicode at open" selected, I can read/write utf-8 IPTC data.
With IrfanView 4.28 I can't read utf-8 IPTC information.
I solvet it by uninstalling v. 4.28 and installing v. 4.25. But to use future versions I need capability to read utf-8 IPTC data.
