Please delete my other thread "Showing help lines in pictrues (not in selection)".
After thinking and trying a lot I think this would be a good solution and useful for other users as well :-)
I would like to have a modified Fixed Grid, instead of entering the pixels between the grid lines in the options menu I would like to enter something like /2. Irfanview detects the /, it divides the height and width of the bitmap by 2 and uses this for the grid. So it draws a vertical and a horizontal line in the middle. /3 divides the picture in thirds, /4 in fourths and so on.
I'm editing scores for our little orchestra and I have to deal with lots of different image sizes. So this would be really helpful.
I only have little experience in programming but I think this cannot be a big change, IV has to calculate with the entered number anyway 😇
