I recently installed the preview version of Windows 8 in a virtual machine
Here some screenshots of IrfanView, IrfanPaint and Windows 8:
1. You should run the setup as administrator
Notice: If you choose "Create desktop link for all users" the desktop link will be created only for the administrator account! (Maybe an installer bug)
2. IrfanView window - see the new windows theme
3. Now let´s press "F122 for IrfanPaint! Some "design" changes should be very useful in the IrfanPaint dialog
4. Drawing in IrfanPaint
5. Opening an image file in Windows 8 - choose program
6. IrfanView site in the brand new Internet Explorer 10
7. Even Windows 8 updates are available

9. The Metro Design Start Screen (I really don´t like it...)
