[64bit 4.5] Can't load plugin: effects.dll

OK, installing all of the plugins worked. Seems it also needed the 32-bit effects.dll included in the plugins zip. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. I was previously using an older, 32-bit version of IrfanView on Windows 10 Pro. I uninstalled that older version. Then I installed version 4.59, 64-bit via the EXE.

Specifically, I'm trying to open the Adobe 8BF Plugins Filter dialog (Control + K) when I get the error saying "EFFECTS.DLL" can't be loaded. The DLL is shown as installed and active if I look at the IrfanView PlugIns window.

Check that it is in the correct folder.

The plugin version is 4.59

Exe 4.58 and also tried copying plugins from zip, same result.

It may be important to know which version you installed: ZIP, EXE or the app from the MS-Store.

Installed latest version but included effects.dll doesn't load even that it is listed as loaded under Help->Plugins
