Which filter is used for batch resizing? I found one post on another site while googling that said it was Lanczos (supposedly found by trial/error and comparing). That's fine if it is for resizing down, but not so much for resizing up (e.g., ringing artifacts -- I'd rather use Mitchell in those cases). Is there a way to select which filter (through the command line perhaps?).

It will use whichever one you last selected, AFAIK. I recall posting something about this many forgotten posts ago. You can change the INI manually -- look for
[Resize]
ResampleFilter=(number)
and change the number if you don't want to fake an image resizing just to reset it.
