I've recently had a clip from a videotape converted to AVI. When I try to open in IV, IV simply closes.
I've tried a couple of other AVIs both of which open in IV but only play the sound - no picture.
All three of the AVIs work OK when run with the ghastly Windows Media Player.
IV v4.23, latest plug-ins, XP SP2
Any suggestions?
