Convert PSD to PNG

Hi all,

I do all my web design in Fireworks and have been given a design in PSD. Can I use Irfanview to convert a layered psd file to a png file and maintain integrity?

IrfanView will read only the composite layer from PSD files. If the file contains only a dummy composite, it will be all IrfanView sees.

Transparency will not be processed and saved.
