Zooming with the mouse wheel

Hello everybody,

Is there a way to configure IrfanView so that you can zoom with the mouse wheel without pressing Ctrl?
Under Browsing/Editing there is the possibility to uncheck "View other files in folder", unfortunately then scrolling with the arrow keys and the thumbnail view no longer work.

It would be great if the mouse wheel action could be determinable.
Maybe a suggestion for a future version?

AFAIK such a setting is not possible.
Pressing CTRL to zoom in/out with a mouse wheel is a widely used function. Many programs, e. g. web browsers and office programs, use this.
