Is IrfanView unsupported in Windows 11? it gives me error when installing

Try rebooting. A previous version seems to be running.

On Windows 11, IrfanView works correct only from Windows Store.

I installed the 64 bit version with no errors (did not use the windows store). However, I am unable to set Irfanview as default program for jpg files (and png, and probably a few others).

Try to right click on the file, select Open with - Choose another app, in the list select IrfanView and check Always use this app.
