for me it is important to see if the proportions of the picture parts fit together resp. are symmetrical.
What I miss in irfanview is the help to do so.
It would be nice to have i.e. kind of dots in the middle of each selection edge.
Even better lines which show the middle of each side (cross).
Even more practical would be a grid (definable) or other types of guidelines, but this would really very nice to have.
