    need assistance please....

    Hi good people

    I need your "IRFAN" expertise

I like to see all my images ( in a folder) as THUMBNAIL but
each time I open a picture folder it's in TILES and each darn
time I have to use the icone to make the changes....grrr
    (it's getting frustrating as hell)

Is there a way to make all my picture in thumbnail automaticly
without having to change it with the dang icone???

And another problem (which is getting on my nerves)
I can not see (also in thumbnail) my PSD file... I can change
image tiles to be THUMBNAIL but my PSD file are still PANDA BEAR

I have nothing agains PANDA it's a darn cute animal BUT......grrr

    best regards to you all

I believe you are talking about how you see things in Windows Explorer? IrfanView has no control over how Explorer displays files. You have to speak to Windows Explorer about that. If you right-click on a folder and select "Properties," you can customize the folder's view. Also, (in Tools>Folder options--View) you can set all folders to the same kind of view or reset all to default and start over. And tell Explorer to remember each folder's view!

If you want to see all thumbnails, it is easier to use the IrfanView Thumbnail Viewer

As for the panda...I'm not sure what's what with that, since I never use Windows Explorer except when forced to, and I have associated PSD files with IrfanView so that they are given one of the icons of the Icons DLL in the Plugins folder...
