Raw pixel display of Jpeg images

Question: Is there an IrfanView option to show raw pixels in a Jpeg image (as per Paint.Net)?

Note: This was supposedly answered by thread [1] in the references below, however the solution does not seem to work in Ver 4.25.

    See attached image.

Left inset is the IrfanView rendering after zoom-in of item of interest, indicating a high degree of low pass filtering.

Centre inset is from Paint.Net, showing raw pixel representation.

The object that was zoomed on is the potential human on the road, 1/3 of the way down from the top of the image. In this application, the pixel view is of more use than the low pass filtered view.

It appears to me that the latter's solution :
disable View>Display options (window mode)>Use "Resample" for fitting (better quality)
does not work, noting that I have to use a different new menu sequence to get to this setting

[View [Show Fullscreen options ... {Unclick "Use 'resample' function for first display of an image" \

Hmm, I was nose-deep in Fowler's Modern English Usage last weekend, and I thought that he had something to say about this. Will confer.
