I run a slideshow with both jpg and mp4 content. It occasionally stalls/freezes on movies and will not advance or go back. I have to end the task in task manager and restart irfanView, the slideshow, find the position to continue and restart it. This has happened for a long time now with all versions of Irfview incl. latest. This is running the slideshow from a text file and with manual or timed advance. Any ideas on where the problem lies. Fully updated high spec XPS15 with Win10. Very annoying for viewers.

In Properties/Settings, Video/Sound. Slideshow runs ok with "Use external player (IV_Player Plugin (old) required)" selected but NOT with "Use internal video/sound player (recommended)" selected. Unfortunately I can't get a Full Screen for movies with the "Use external player" setting.
