Unfortunately, this sounds like a hardware failure. Your hard drive may be failing. I recommend backing up everything you can from that drive before it fails completely. I have had this happen on even a new drive that had some bad locations (not a solid state drive). Sometimes chkdsk can make the drive usable again but the damaged files will be deleted.
