Solved Slide show settings not available to set in INI file nor Command line.

I have created a .TXT with all my jpg file names that reside on my computer (10,000). I then opened the slideshow window in IrfanViewer. I made my settings for Random, Delay between automatic advance, Display of the file information at the top of the picture. I then learned how to create an icon with command line functions to run the slide show using my ,txt file. What I learned was that that whenever the slide show features changed – my slideshow assumed those changes. I can’t find any Command line nor INI function to set these for each slideshow. With 10,000 pictures – I didn’t want to create an .exe file because of the size! I also couldn’t fined how the application keeps/stores/remembers these changes when made. I assumed it was in the ini file – but that was empty. Did I miss something in the documentation? Another suggestion is to add a function to save an ini file with all these setting as configured.

You can copy the ini file that IV uses and save it in a directory, then use ini= on the command line to access it.

Thanks. My problem was that my File explorer was hiding the Appdata folder in my user directory (I had to change a View option in file explorer) - which is why i couldn't fine it! I'm good now.
