Irfanview Color doesn't match Adobe Elements Color

I had this before I thought I solved it by setting the colorspace. Both are sRGB, Irfanview is set in color management to enable color management, current monitor profile. Elements is set to "Always Optimize for Computer Screens"

Should I have Adobe set to something else? As it is, the Irfanview colors are much brighter and the Elements files, when I edit, are flatter, relative to that. I'd like them to be the same.

Screen snapshot, side by side is included.

The side by side, Irfanview is on the left, Adobe Elements on the right.

If your system is properly set to sRGB and that is what your monitor requires, IrfanView should have no problems with this. You can try and change IV settings from "current monitor profile" to sRGB, which should make no difference.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with Adobe's program, and this forum, with lately quite limited number of active members, might not be the best place to get an useful advice.

What is the colour space of the image, displayed in both programs??
      IrfanView 4.62 64-bit
