Unicode named files - iv not able to save; not able to open header.

When I try to save a pic in iv with name गाड़ी.jpg that is gaadi in hindi, meaning vehicle, iv says it can't save file.

When is save image from firefox with the exact same name, ff saves, but when I open that saved image in iv, it says "<??????.jpg>: Can't read file header !

Isn't there support for saving file with non-ascii names in iv?

I am on w7.
