"JPEG save error - Could not compress to desired file size"

I'm new to this kind of thing.
How do I post a question. The question I have is-
I was improving some photos when I I was told to update the Plugins, I needed RIOT.DLL
I have downloaded RIOT.DLL and it shows as 0.33.0 version in my pc. The OS is Win XP SP2.
I've been using IV for years and now I get the error message ' JPG Save Error 'could not compress to desired filesize'
    What do I do now?

    Hello MargH,

    This is an old question!

    See these threads here:

      Hi,
You can try a resizing of images before saving them with a low file size.

I had the same problem after downloading plugins. The problem was solved by selecting the 'show options dialog' box in the Save menu, then unticking the box which had changed to 'set file size 65.0 KB (RIOT plugin)'. Hopefully that's fixed it.
