Solved How to save a Gif as a jpg in iview

I have opened an animated gif in iview. Its animation is showing and it is moving.

However, I find that most of options in all menus of iview are dimmed. I can't even save it, as other name, or not as a jpg that would be non-animated.

How can I see various frames contained in the gif merger of which give it the impression of movement.

And, how can I save a single frame from that gif file as jpg file in iview?

    Thanks.

great. it has already become a jpg whereas I had loaded an animated gif.

:-) so, my basic problem is solved. "upload an animated gif at this forum, that will become non-animated jpg, save that."

but if you can suggest some other option that would work within iview standalone, that would be helpful

You can disable animation for GIF images in Properties, JPG/PCD/GIF.

You can also extract all frames from the Options menu.

Yes, that was it, "extract all frames" did the trick.

          Thanks.
