    1. Enable Options - Properties - viewing - remember the last...
    2. Enable View - display - fit window...
    3. Make sure that window is not maximized (middle icon):
    4. Open in IV image a little narrower than the width of the screen and much taller (1256x1907 for my 1280x1024 monitor) and scroll to bottom.
If you could not reproduce (before this was opened a small picture), then you need to close IV and open the picture again.

IV 4.39 beta 64-bit does not have this problem, so I suppose it was already fixed and will come with next version.

    Not fixed in 4.40: http://ipic.su/img/img7/fs/20150805003.1438773052.png

... and forum profile settings don't have IV 4.40 option

Yes, I can reproduce this issue.

(Profile option will be added, when the man who does this will have the time to do it. It is vacation time after all.)

    Have a nice day!

IrfanView 4.40 64 bit: Gleicher Fehler bei mir mit Windows 7, 64 bit.
Bei der 32 bit Variante ist dieser Fehler nicht vorhanden.

    Bitte beheben :-)

Please attach the new test version to the thread for the benefit of other users.

They should understand the caveats of installing test versions. They sometimes break something else.

The 64-bit version was apparently to big to attach.
