When I first registered for the Forums, the email with my confirmation link was lost in cyberspace, I never got it. Therefore I could not confirm my account and therefore I could not post anything. I couldn't find any command on the website to retransmit it, either. So my Forum account was stuck in limbo.
Finally it occurred to me that I could get a new one by going to my Control Panel and changing my e-mail address to a different one, thus re-starting the verification process.
But there should be a way to trigger a new verification e-mail without changing one's e-mail address. If there is, I don't know what it is.
Oh, and when I did get the confirmation e-mail at my other account, its From line included no e-mail address at all, e.g.

This would probably explain why my first e-mail account didn't get it. Somewhere along the line was a mail server that rejected mail with no e-mail address on its From line.
