Solved Copy/crop box now crosshatched

Win 10 irfanview 4.42 64bit

All of a sudden every time I do copy/crop bos it has a cross hatch pattern in it, looks like a tic-tac-toe box. Did I hit some setting I can't find?

It's menu 'Edit' --> 'Show selection grid'
