Requested exif info to include the $E value

    Hi

I am a Olympus camera user and I make a lot of wildlife photos.
Normaly in full screen view I have some EXIF info in the top.
In the Exif Info panel, I can se the "Focus Distance", but I haven't been able to find the
    corresponding $E value.
If the Exif info panel included the $E value, then it would be easy to find the value.

    Kind regards

In Help, Options Menu, Text Pattern Options I can see

    $E37386 - FocalLength

Is that what you're looking for?
I recommend changing your Username to not use your email address, as showing your email address online only invites spammers and scammers.

      Morten,

I don't know whether IrfanView will display all availabe Exif-tags, but you might find the required tag number on this website: http://www.exiv2.org/tags-olympus.html

      Also standard Exif-tags: http://www.exiv2.org/tags.html

      I don't have a Olympus camera, so I can't test it.

      Good luck,

No Focal Length gives the lens focal length, I wanted the distance to the object.
Not sure how to change userid now.

          Thanks for the link.
          I found the value, $E773.
If the Exif page said "$E773 Focus Distance 10.625 m" instead of "Focus Distance 10.625 m" I wouldn't have to search.
