Forwarded Gray RAW filled by 0x49 decode error

While open .RAW file filled by hexadecimal value 49(decimal 73 or literally I) I got message
    Code:
    Decode error !
    Not a valid RAW file
But no error while open through File>Open as>RAW file...
Originally this is 320x240 grayscale(8 bit) image. See example file below. Change extension to .raw before try.

I can confirm your results, but I have no idea if it's a bug or not. If I save the file as a new RAW file, it then opens, but is completely different.

I suggest sending a report to Irfan Skiljan (About, IrfanView) and see what he says.

Dont know how you can get different file, maybe you change color depth?
Anyway, I realized that the cause in first two byte, all subsequent is not matter. I.e. any .RAW file starting with double 0x49 will give this error. Bug report has been sent to Irfan Skiljan.
