METADATA.DLL Cannot be Loaded

    Solved METADATA.DLL Cannot be Loaded

    I installed ver 444 32 bit and applied plug-in exe +++ and some special plug-ins ; on I command I try to enter some data it asks to install this dll file as it cannot be loaded.

    I search the installed folder the file not found. Click image for larger version Name: Metadata.dll-.jpg Views: 1 Size: 24.2 KB ID: 84873
    EFFECTS.dll is also not loaded

    I again installed and checked for the folder it was correct "Plugins"
    As i work may find some more.

    • Run "irfanview_plugins_444_setup.exe"
    • Select the right folder as shown in the screen shot

      It itself goes to this folder while installing plugins file says OK
      But again problem was there.

      Now before receiving this message yesterday I uninslled IV which did not deleted the folder. I deleted it manually; restarted windows
      ran a cleaner app and then installed IV which gave me the correct result now and problem for this file is resolved.
