Reported Thumbnails UTF-8 list file can not handle byte order mark (BOM)

    Salut to all!

First of all, thanks for a great application to Irfan and all developers.

I want to send image files from Total Commander to Irfanview thumbnails, through the button in TC.
    Button in TC:
    Command: "C:\Program Files (x86)\IrfanView\i_view32.exe" /thumbs
    Parameters: /filelist=%UL
%UL means Utf-8 List. TC does not use utf-8 without BOM. On the other hand, Irfanview can not handle BOM (as minimum, in utf-8). So, IV does not show the first image in the list. There is a workaround: to select +1 image before the really needed first one, but it is not very nice, annoying.

Yes, I know, officially utf-8 does not need BOM. But in fact, in real word, more and more applications DO use it: foobar2000, Total Commander, Mp3tag, EditPad Pro, and so on. I am agree with them, it is a better way: without BOM, detecting utf-8 is much more complicated. So, today it is like a standard.

Is there a chance, that IrfanView change its behavior, too? Or is there an other workaround?

    Edit 2018.12.27.

The new 4.52 version solved this problem. Thanks for it!
