Solved File batch conversion - Keep directory structure

    hello,
in the batch conversion it's possible to include subdirectories with add all (files) command
Instead the OUTPUT folder is flatted, so all the files are written in the same folder

it would be nice to PRESERVE the input directory structure for the output folder: in this way, the written files will be placed in a directory with the same name of the original files.

    thanks

    emh, I found that option
It's in the conversion settings -> advanced
Since it's more related to renaming files than conversion, why don't you put it in the other menu?

The method you have discovered is mostly used to create a duplicate folder structure on another drive, such as a USB stick. If you are putting the files back on the same drive that they came from you may find that putting $D in the Output directory box is a better way. $D will copy the full path name of the file being processed. It can be used either to put the new image back where it came from or in a sub-folder. For example putting $D/reduced in the Output directory box will create a subfolder called reduced in the original folder and put the new image there.
