Can IrfanView detect and rotate all pictures that were taken vertically?

    Hello,

I was wondering if IrfanView was able to detect if a picture was taken by holding the camera vertically.

Currently, I have to open the Thumbnails application, manually select all such pictures, and select "Rotate Right" in the Batch Conversion > Advanced > "Set for all images" dialog.

    Thank you.

See Properties/Settings, JPEG (Load), and enable "Auto-rotate image according to EXIF info (if available)

Thanks for the tip, but that option was already checked, with no result in either IV or Thumbnails.

In both OK and NOK pictures, Orientation says "Top Left" in the EXIM section.
