Using cmd to convert images on MacOS

I am experiencing problems using the /convert= functionality in my MacOS cmd. I am able to load the software properly from the cmd using /Applications/Irfanview.app/Contents/MacOS/startwine but cannot open the needed file nor convert it to the new filename.

any help / suggestions are appreciated.
