Solved How can I paste clipboard into a selection of the same size?

. . . if I can rectangle a section of another image that is open, Ctrl c, go to another image that is open, Ctrl v, and not have to create a selection in the destination image or replace entirely, but give me an opportunity to drag it into the proper position and drop it.

I really need to find an application that does this but has all the same blistering fast file handling, crop, resize, save . . . that one feature would make my life easier.

rectangle a section of another image that is open, ctrl c, go to another image that is open, SHIFT+CTRL+LEFT-CLICK, and a selection of the required size appears, drag & drop it to the desired position, press CTRL+V - done
