Thumbnails: sort by date created instead of date modified?

The generic date option in the thumbnail view seems to sort by date modified. Any way to get it to sort by date created instead?

Irfanview does not support sort by date created but File/Windows Explorer does. Sort them there, then use Irfanview slideshow dialog to save a list of them.
Open the Slideshow dialog and if there are files already listed in the Slideshow files area press Remove All to get rid of them.
Back in Explorer press Ctrl+A to highlight all the sorted files, left click down on the first of them and drag and drop the lot into the Slideshow files area. Now click on Save filenames as TXT file and save the list.
Back in Irfanview thumbnails you can Load file list from TXT file on the Options menu.
